Langston Kerman

Kerman is a stand-up comic, actor and writer originally from Oak Park, IL, and now residing in Brooklyn, NY. In TV Kerman appeared on the third season of Adam DeVine’s House Party (Comedy Central) and now recurs as ‘Jared’ in HBO’s comedy Insecure from Issa Rae.

Kerman was honored as a ‘New Face’ at the 2015 Just For Laughs Festival last summer in Montreal where he also opened for Eric Andre. He was a part of Chris Rock’s writing staff for the 2016 Oscars and also just wrote for Comedy Central’s new show Problematic With Moshe Kasher.

He has also written for and appeared in digital content from Comedy Central, Above Average and Refinery 29 and he is the Spokesperson of the IFC Comedy Road Tour which has appeared at the Moontower and Brooklyn Comedy Festivals. Kerman has toured all over the country including recent dates at The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, the RIOT LA Comedy Festival on the comics to watch lineup and as a co-headliner at the New York Comedy Festival. Kerman will co-headline a month long tour with Jak Knight including a week of dates at the Just For Laughs Festival in Toronto.

Kerman graduated from the University of Michigan and has an MFA in Poetry from Boston University.
